Never done before it now was a question of finding the right pictures and approach.When they were finished I've got so many positive reactions as "works of art" and why not going to exhibit them.
So I continued in this form of "art" and have made several more stained glass portraits since then. And now the circle is complete! A new name "Inspiration- breath of the mind" (inspiratie-adem van de geest)
(as a thank you to the two women who inspired me to take this path) a new website, exhibitions, simply a new path full of inspiration! All portraits are handmade from the best Opal glass, they made with a wooden frame and a certificate of authenticity and equally important, every portrait is only made just once so exlusivity is quarenteed.

How is an idea created,
how does it get in your mind,
where does that sudden clear insight comes from,
its because of us, sentence for sentence
we wispered these words to you.
How do you ever get an idea,
do you ever wonder?
it was the voice of one of us,
that gave you that insight.
the voice of someone like us,
invisible at your side,
that is how you listened.
You called it Inspiration,
breath of the mind, Inspiration,
but we have been it all along.
Thats how a child gets his idea's
thats how a man finds what he seeks,
thats how a mortal becomes a hero
thats how progress is made
thats because of someone from here
thats how a person reaches a higher level.
We call it Inspiration

Having worked for several years with my stained glass art studio Mother Earth Creations on Western themes (Native American , dreamcatchers , cowboys etc) and orders ranging from Wajang doll to football club logo's, one day, I got inspired by two women to make their portraits in stained glass.
